This phenomenon must sound strange to most. The whole idea of the necessity to feed your muscle is hard to digest. So what exactly does feeding the muscles mean? Building muscles would mean building the muscle mass. Like the way the body requires fuel to produce energy, the muscles need fuel to strengthen. A large number of calories are needed to fuel both workouts and tissue building. However it is important to know what calories are a must for your muscles and what kind you can do without. Before introducing you to the different nutrients, it is important to know the different techniques for building muscles. If these techniques are not followed, only feeding your muscles will do no good. A proper regime needs to be followed. One should kick start the day with a good dose of proteins and carbohydrates. Breakfast should be a four course, consisting of proteins and carbohydrates. Two hours before working out a dose of complex carbohydrates should be taken. Also just 15 minutes before working out one should drink a good quality of sports drink that would boost your energy. After work out you can eat a good filling meat sandwich.
Muscle feeders:
After having read the previous paragraph, you must have discovered that carbohydrates and proteins play a very important role as muscle feeders. Carbohydrates are the predominant energy source for strength training. They provide glycogen with provide energy to the body. Carbohydrate should be a major concern of athletes doing strength-training exercise in the hopes of building lean muscle. Proteins on the other hand are the basic building material for muscle tissue, and strength trainers need to consume more than the non-exercisers. Other than proteins and carbohydrates other nutrients are fats that should be taken in small quantities. Then there is water that too feed muscles. Water helps in hydrating the body during work out. If the body is hydrating during workout, the muscles grow better and stronger. Then there is creatine that has the potential to help carry out a better work out sessions.
There are certain supplements are mistaken to do the work of the nutrients. However these supplements rarely and almost never do the work of feeding muscles healthily. A proper intake of all the above-mentioned nutrients can do wonders.
